Consultant Medical Geneticist
Dr. Fahad Hakami, PhD, DABMGG, FACMG
Dr. Hakami is a Consultant Molecular Geneticist and the Head of Molecular Medicine at King Abdulaziz Medical City-Jeddah. He is an Assistant Professor of Molecular Genetics at King Abdulaziz University for Allied Health Sciences-Jeddah. He is also the Head of the Genetics Unit at Alborg Laboratories and a Lab Consultant for Genealive Lab. Following his MSc studies in Molecular Medicine and PhD in Cancer Biology, Dr Hakami finished his Molecular Genetics Fellowship at Harvard Medical School in 2016. Since then, he has been an American Board-certified Clinical Molecular Geneticist and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. In addition to being active in publishing novel genetic findings, Dr. Hakami is an expert in molecular genetics diagnostics, specializing in implementing advanced diagnostic tests as well as reviewing and signing out diagnostic reports for hereditary diseases and cancer genetics.

Dr. Mohamed A. Alnagar is a Clinical Pathologist and Laboratory Director with over 15 years of expertise in diagnostic medicine, clinical laboratory operations, and healthcare leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery from Al-Azhar University in Cairo and is Board-Certified in Laboratory Medicine.
In addition, Dr. Alnagar has completed advanced healthcare management programs at the American University in Cairo, specializing in strategic management, quality systems, finance, and human resources.
He has successfully led high-volume laboratories in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, guiding teams through international and national accreditation processes including CAP, JCI, and CBAHI.
