Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A)

Istock 816223244

PGT-A, or preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies, is a genetic test of the embryo produced during IVF treatment.

PGT-A identifies chromosomally normal embryos to improve your chance for a successful and healthy pregnancy and baby.

BGI’s VISTA™ PGT-A uses single-cell whole genome amplification and low-coverage genome-wide sequencing technology to detect aneuploidy for all 46 chromosomes, deletions or duplications larger than 4Mb.

Why Choose VISTA™ PGT-A?

Embryonic aneuploidy, most often arising from meiotic errors in oocytes, is the major cause of early pregnancy wastage. By using this test:

Miscarriage rates can be reduced

Fewer cycles of IVF treatment will be needed (less time and money)

Pregnancy rates per transfer can be higher
